Scavenger Hunt For Teens

A scavenger hunt for teens will encourage friendly competition and team building. It will hone their senses and allow them to have fun while learning and exploring. Plus teen always love good, fun, friendly competition.

 
 Get your teenage students active!

Here are few choices that may find  fun and creative for youth group activities and games.

1. Icebreaker Game
This game will have your new group of students introducing themselves to one another and learning little tidbits of information about each other. It's a great scavenger hunt for groups that are yet to know each other well.

2. Photo Scavenger Game

This is always a hit with kids and teens. Why? Well...

set-up is simple
requires minimal planning
 the outcome is always a huge success
      encourages creativity and thinking outside the box


Ensure that your students bring their cameras (or mobile phones with cameras) for this scavenger game. Split the group into teams, give them list of clues and set a meet back time and let them go have fun in the game!

3. Video Scavenger Hunt
When doing a video camera scavenger hunt all that is needed is enough video cameras so that each group can have and use one. Split your group of teen students into teams, send an adult out to assist each group, set a time limit and a meeting place and then let the group go.  This can also be done as a team building activity with a group of adults.

4. Video Camera Scavenger Hunt
All that's needed are a fun group of folks and a couple of video camera recorders or even cell phones that are able to be used to record video. 

Examples of tasks are:
- Video of the group laughing on a street corner.

- Video of every group member sliding down a slide.

- Video of group members collecting litter from the sidewalk, in a park, in a school yard.

- Video of another group on the hunt going about their business.

- They must NOT see you filming them!

- Video of the group building a human pyramid in the local park.

5.  City Hunt
